Japanese vase made in the Satsuma manufacture. The body painted with two square panels, one depicting a noblemen gathering and the other the seven lucky gods in realist! style on a dark midnight-blue ground decorated in gilt with peonie flowerheads. The base signed. Late 19th century, Meiji period. Height: 18cm.
