Round Incense Burner



Bronze Japanese incense burner (Koro) from the Meiji Period, 19th century. This important koro stands on four little-boy shaped feet. The decoration on the body of the incense burner is a coiling dragon chasing the celestial pearl.  The dragon represents good luck, wealth, freedom and fearlessness.
Signed on the bottom. Height: 41 cm
