Sanbaso Dancer Netsuke

A fabulous -early 19th century- netsuke piece of a rather crude carving technique, the ittobori. Posing on two foot, holding a fan in one hand and a small bell in the other, his kimono carved with pine saplings and flying cranes, wearing an Okina mask, the well-toned yew-wood slightly worn. Nice himotoshi. Signed. Size of the netsuke: 6.5 cm
